Have a safe and Happy New Year everyone! 2007 had it's ups and downs, but overall, I had a good year!
Highlights include: Got into a program (that I sometimes think was a HUGE mistake, but it really isn't), FL trip, got closer to a friend I was already close to, trip to St. Catharine's to visit Czee, new additions to the family (Victor Marcus Tolentino), Percy FINALLY talks, eh the kids in general (I love them!!), and so much more. I realize that I have the greatest friends who are there for me when I need them the most and have my back when I am going through issues. Thanks guys, love yoooous! :)
Can't wait to rock out tonight and play some ROCK BAND!

The girls! :)
The guys! :)
GBC and the Secret Santa turned out to be a good turn out! I ran out of battery so I don't have much pictures, the rest will be posted via Facebook!
Okay, I just spoke with BJ today and here's the deal.
As you all know, there is a maximum of $15.00 for extra accessories (this is optional). There's already candy and stuff included in the kits but if you want to maximize the quality of your house and have an actual chance of winning, extra candy might be recommended. BJ told me to tell everyone to get their stuff before arriving at the party so that there will be no delays. But since this is a Filipino party, I'm expecting TONS of delays. :) I have rules and regulations and all that other stuff printed up. If you want a copy, let me know and I can email it to you. It's quite pretty if I do say so myself hahaha.
Can someone please remind me to remind Ken to get cardboard on Thursday. This can be used as part of your accessories if you chose not to buy candy -- don't worry, the cardboard will be free -- just get Ken drunk. :P
And if there are people who do not have a partner, it has been decided that you can have as many people in a team as you want (you can even do one by yourself if you want). Just let us know so we can calculate how many houses to buy. The money will go to BJ since he'll be the one buying them. I'll tell him to call you guys with the prices and stuff.
ALSO regarding the dinner, we decided that it will be pizza and a potluck. So bring what you want -- if it's dessert you're bringing, then I'm HAPPY! :) I'm going to bring a chicken from Zher's and warm it up in the oven.
One more reminder, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE clean up after yourselves and help out with the cleaning afterwards. Do not leave this up to BJ. I know you all know to do so, but I just wanted it to be said.
And remember to HAVE FUN! :)
"It's going to be a white Christmas after all!" -- person will be left anonymous due to the silliness of the content :)
It's the perfect time! Who wants to be a kid again and go tobogganing? Who's willing to get their asses wet, their snot frozen, and going down a big hill like we used to as children? Then get some YUMMY hot chocolate after? Eh, who am I kidding? I HATE the winter! But it's still a good idea. It would be fun. I think? I remember that one time we were at Hines Park and I got ran over by a sled! haha so typical of what would happen to me.
Today was a sad day indeed. As excited as I was to get some ice cream from Ritters -- after what seemed like an endless traffic jam; as hungry and as much as I was craving for some ICE CREAM (yes in this weather), I was only disappointed to see that it had CLOSED DOWN. Sigh.... They had the BEST ice cream (even though I've only eaten there once). I would have been their BEST customer! I don't know if I liked Ritter's better than Coldstone. I have NO clue! At least I got my Chicken Shack today. 36 wings, potatoes, and coleslaw! All the LOVELY fatty food imaginable (don't worry, I didn't eat it all).
I want a nap now since I ate so much, but I can't! Today is going to be eventful!
I LOVE IIIIIIIIIIIITTTT!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!! :)
Since the 15th was not ideal for Nazgol (due to exams), the date of GBC has been postponed to Friday December 21st, 2007 at 4 pm. We're also thinking of having a registration fee that will pay for the gingerbread houses, egg nog and rum (or whatever goes with egg nog). We have 2 options. Sobey's sells small gingerbread houses OR we could get the big ones everywhere else. So by vote, we'll go with what the majority wants. There will also be accessories and icing included in the package, but if you feel you need more, you bring that on your own (ie, extra candy, icing, etc). So depending on what you guys choose, the registration fee will be $8.00 for the small one, and $14.00 for the big one -- this is all per team (so divide that among your team mates). If you guys want additional structures (ie cardboard) to add to the gingerbread, let us know in advance -- Ken can get some for us. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!! For the dinner, is there any volunteers to cook and help out? If we don't have enough volunteers, we can always do a potluck or order food. It's up to you guys. Oh and should we do secret Santa on the same day, or a different day? Either way, I'm designating one of you guys to organize the secret Santa event -- this will not be Team Bitch sponsored. So, do I have any volunteers (Darlene? Donna? Jane?)?
Okay, let one of us know (me, Ken, or BJ). Thanks, and see you all there for GBC! WOOHOO!
